Sweden and Denmark are instant references for cohousing, sharing and living together. But is it really such a big thing in Scandinavia? During one semester our studio collectively investigated the housing landscape of Sweden and examined numerous case studies from around the world. This type is very rare, but possibly thanks to an article in a Danish architecture magazine, the idea reached Copenhagen and transformed into one of the best student residences in the world. Our research was published as a book.
